Chapman Hall

Built in 1939 and named after Charles H. Chapman, the second president of the university, Chapman Hall is home to the Robert D. Clark Honors College, the UO Graduate School, the UO Office of Publications, and Oregon Quarterly, the university's magazine (formerly known as Old Oregon magazine). Part of the memorial quadrangle, Chapman was built in the image of its neighbor, Condon Hall. It was the last building on campus to be built with federal Public Works Administration funds, part of the New Deal program.
