Onyx Bridge

The Onyx Bridge didn't make much of an impression on students when it opened in 1960. The steel diagonals on the building's exterior offended some, though the scientists who worked inside didn't notice, and it was originally known as the physics wing or science bridge, as it connected Science I and Science II. Today faculty offices and the science library are housed in the Onyx Bridge complex, so named because it hovers over Onyx Street. It also connects Klamath Hall to Cascade Hall.
