Prince Lucien Campbell Hall

The University of Oregon's fourth president didn't have a building named after him until 1962, when Prince Lucien Campbell Hall, known as PLC to students, was built near the library on Kincaid Street. Construction of PLC -- the only "high rise on campus -- in the 1960s was almost entirely with federal dollars. It is home to most of the university's humanities departments, including classics, economics, English, history, philosophy, political science, and sociology.
