Streisenger Hall

Streisenger Hall is named for longtime University of Oregon scientist George Streisenger, a widely respected geneticist who was one of the university's members of the National Academy of Science until his death in 1984. Dedicated to biotechnology research, the building opened in 1989 and houses components of the Institutes of Neuroscience and Molecular Biology as well as the cell biology program and animal care facilities.
