Originally built in 1921 as a dormitory for 112 women, Susan Campbell Hall today houses the offices for the Oregon University System. The building was named for Susan Church Campbell, who was initially employed by the university as director of dormitories, a position she gave up when she married Prince Lucien Campbell, the UO's fourth president. Susan Campbell Hall is on the National Register of Historic Places.
